Melanie Zechmeister

Melanie studied maths and computer science at TU Wien and works at the interface of these two disciplines. She is responsible for the quality assurance, processing and preparation of data from a wide range of areas, which is then incorporated into mathematical models. On the one hand, close collaboration with experts from the individual disciplines is important in order to gain a deeper understanding of the data itself, while on the other hand, communication with the modellers is also of great importance in order to understand how the data flows into the model.

In her free time, she feels at home on any climbing wall and enjoys spending time in nature with her family.
